Dominion hooks up with a hot talent! Dominion, ever in search of the best work around, has added a visionary artist to our ever-expanding roster. Juda Tverski, an illustrator capable of working in a myriad of mediums, has agreed to work with Dominion creator Hassan Godwin in developing the final look of the characters of Valkk: Children of a Metal God. Juda brings a unique technique to the table. Using Photoshop, he takes flat inks (or even straight pencils) and “dimensionalizes” them, providing a powerful 3-D feel to Hassan's already intricate pencils. You will soon see Juda's work on covers, posters and screen wallpapers soon. Check out his first piece here. Juda has worked both in and out of the comic industry since he graduated from the School for Visual Arts in New York . He's done illustration for DC, Marvel and even the food industry. You can check out his website at www.judatverski.com

Dominion Does Chi Town.

First Al Capone, then the Sears Tower and now Dominion becomes the biggest thing to hit Chicago. Oh alright, technically, Rosemont.

The Dominion Gang began the Fusion Anthology Tour at one of the biggest shows of the year, the Wizard Chicagocon. Draped in their now classic black suits, the creators and staff wowed the show with some outstanding swag. Children were thrilled with the Dominion Balloons that we handed out and the "You will be Loyal" TM buttons were picked up in the thousands. Our raffles were a tremendous success, competing with three other raffles, all occurring mysteriously at 4 O'clock on Sunday. The winners will be announced elsewhere on this site. All those who stopped by loved the Fusion Anthology, agreeing that it was the best produced independent book at the show. "We had a great time, as always" said Alex Glass, Editor-in-Chief, "There are some great fans in the Midwest and this is the best way to meet a whole lot of them at once. The feedback was tremendous." We also attended the legendary Wizard After-Party, rubbing elbows with the Comic Industry Elite.

Dominion does Radio.

The Dominion has begun its journey into the media! Our own publisher/designer extraordinaire, Charles "I'm just Bostic, dammit!" Bostic, appeared on a local radio show, the Comic Book Novice , this year. This radio show is dedicacted to discussions on comic books, provides news updates and talks about movie tie-ins and how effective they are.

Charles laid down the knowledge on the state of the industry (down, but not out) and what may happen in the future. The discussion turned to graphic novels and how they are growing in popularity while magazine sales are somewhat stagnant. He talked about his origins at A & B Comics and how it formed his skills and associates that now comprise much of the Dominion.

Broadcasting the Dominion way

Turning to our specific enterprise, Bostic spoke passionately about the Fusion anthology, his own concepts, like Ravenous Redd (out in 2006) and how he approaches drawing and designing.

The crew of the show seemed pretty jazzed. We think you'll soon be, too.
